Biography
Fred works with public, community and private sector clients in establishing governance frameworks and contract arrangements for delivery of public services and on infrastructure and capital works projects involving private development, management or operation with particular focus on the health, housing, education and justice sectors. He also works on major finance transactions, both for financiers and corporate borrowers.
As well as his legal practice, Fred is Chairman of the Australian British Chamber of Commerce in Victoria and a Fellow of the Melbourne University Consulting and Customs Program. He is also a member of the Banking Law Association, the International Bar Association (Business Law Section), the Law Institute of Victoria and the Law Societies of England and Wales, Queensland and New South Wales. Fred is also a director of Bass Coast Community Health Service.
Fred often presents on issues concerning public service delivery by the private and community sectors and on infrastructure policy and implementation and project financing, including public private partnerships. He is admitted to practice in England, Wales and Australia.
Fred's expertise is recognised in Chambers Global 2006 where he is named as a leading Australian lawyer projects.
