Alert - Commercial Arbitration Bill (NSW) enacted

The Commercial Arbitration Bill 2010 (NSW) (Act) was passed by parliament on 22 June and assented to on 28 June. The Act is the first piece of legislation enacted as part of an overhaul of Australia's domestic arbitration regime, with the adoption of new uniform national laws as announced by the Standing Committee of Attorneys-General on May 7 this year.
